Market Superintendent retires after 22 years
Our Market Superintendent Bill Towers has retired from his Monday post, looking after the market and our traders. Bill is known to many around the town as he is also our Town Supervisor and we are lucky to still have him with us in that role for the rest of the week.
Bill has been out with the traders in all weathers, on bank holidays and has kept the market running smoothly. He has handed over his Monday duties to Micky Quinn who will now be the point of contact on the market. Many of our traders told us how much they will miss Bill and we all wish him many happy Mondays out fishing.
