EPPING HALL is a purpose built venue situated in the town centre and is ideal for any kind of function.
The main hall (approx 17.1m long x 13m wide) can accommodate 150 for full seated receptions, with a small dance floor up to 120, for an informal buffet up to 200, or can be converted into a theatre with rack seating for 158*.
*These numbers are only a guideline and can vary as layouts must be in accordance with health and safety and fire regulations.

The Hall is equipped with a stage plus curtains. There is also a back stage area/dressing room facility. The garden lounge has seating for 16 and opens out onto a small patio and garden area. The bar is stocked with glasses, a cooler cabinet and glass washing area. The large well equipped kitchen has a cooker, refrigerator, freezer, hot cupboard, dishwasher and microwave oven, a servery and place settings for 150.
The hall is not licensed for the sale of alcohol and hirers must make their own arrangements for a "Temporary Event Notice". For an application form, contact Licensing at Epping Forest District Council in good time before the event.
Conference Room
Our large Conference Room (approx 10m long x 7m wide) can accommodate meetings for up to 50 people (depending on layout).
If your numbers are lower the room can be partitioned to offer facilities for small groups of between 15 and 20 people.
Conference Facilities include use of the Council’s Wi-fi and a 50” HDTV. The TV is Wi-Di/Miracast compliant for wireless displays (with compatible Windows 8.1 laptops). An Apple TV is available for display mirroring with MacBooks shipped with OS X Mountain Lion/ Mavericks. A selection of VGA or HDMI cables are held for use with older laptops. An OHP, Flipchart, Screen and Standing Lectern are also available. These items should be reserved at the time of booking.
Hot Water Flasks according to numbers for tea/coffee etc may also be provided at a small charge.
There is disabled access to the building and a lift to both levels plus an induction loop. The nearby public car park in Bakers Lane provides ample parking.
Both the hall and conference room are available for hire from Mondays to Saturdays from 8.00am to 11.30pm, on Sundays to 10.30pm. Functions must finish at least thirty minutes before the end of booking. A two hour minimum booking period operates for both the hall and conference room.
