Taste of Italy coming to Epping

A taste of Italy will be coming to Epping next month when the town council hosts an Italian market. A range of Italian delicacies will be on sale from a host of stalls along the High Street between 9am and 4pm on Saturday, February 7. Town clerk Alan Shaw said: “The visit of a French market to the town last year was a popular attraction and we anticipate the visit of the Italian stalls will be an equal draw.” Simon Faro, from Italia In Piazza, said: “So many things can be associated with Italy such as fast cars, sunshine and football, but undoubtedly the biggest thing is food. “Italy's passion and love for food is second to none. “We will be bringing real Italian food, made in Italy, right to your neighbourhood. “And when we say made in Italy we mean real Italian foods served by real Italians!” He added: “Please come along and take a look at what Italy really has to offer. “Our prices are lower than other outlets and markets. In fact they are almost the same price you would expect to pay in Italy, but with no need to take a flight!”
