Epping Society Christmas Lunch
Town Mayor Barbara Scrution joined around 40 members of the Epping Society for their Annual Christmas lunch which was held this year at Wildwood in Epping High Street.
Members enjoyed an interesting talk from local businessman and Freeman of Epping John Batchelor on his family's move to the town, changes in the High Street business landscape and local characters.
The Epping Society is a local organisation whose aim is to actively protect, conserve, promote and enhance the beauty of Epping. It meets several times a year and participates and organises events and outings. It also comments on all planning proposals in the town.
