Christmas Market this Friday
This Friday promises to be an exciting one for residents. The Christmas Market opens at noon, where over 60 stalls will be offering a selection of Christmas gifts and festive foods.
At 1pm the annual festival of Christmas trees opens in St John's Church, an event that gets better and better every year, with over 60 trees being dressed by various groups, organisations and businesses.
At 3.45 as darkness falls, the Christmas Market comes alive - the Christmas illuminations and the lighted market stalls create a lovely atmosphere as the Town Mayor officially opens the market. We then have the award of the Audrey Rose cup to the business that has created the best festive shop window display and then we are entertained by Epping's children singing carols - this is usually the highlight as families gather to see their children and grandchildren sing.
This year Romford based Time 107.5 FM have agreed to compere the evening's entertainment. All in all it promises to be a great event. Please note that the car parks do get full so if you can please make your way down on foot!
