Update from the Copped Hall Trust:
"Epping, A Town at War
In association with the Epping and District Branch of the Royal British Legion
This Sunday sees our second Open Day of 2014. There will be lots to see and do, so bring the whole family for a great day out!
See a display of World War 1 memorabilia put together by the Epping and District branch of the Royal British legion, check out some molten glass from the fire that destroyed Copped Hall in 1917 and even listen to a transcript from an interview with a gardener who worked at the mansion in 1914!
Gates open 11am-4pm. £7 entry. Friends, children under 14 and carers free. Access via Crown Hill (The Upshire Road) as normal."
