Town Elects New Mayor

At Tuesday's Annual Council Meeting, Cllr Mrs Barbara Scruton was elected to be Town Mayor for the Civic Year 2014.

Cllr Scruton was clearly moved by the honour and thanked her fellow Councillors for nominating her. She has selected Avril's Dream as her chosen charity for the year and is looking forward to representing the Town Council and becoming involved with the many Local Organisations in the Town.
